Funeral Service Friday at Ten o'clock at church of St. Augustine. Joseph Studer, 81, died this morning at five o'clock, his death due to infirmities of his advanced age. Funeral sevices will be held Friday morning at the church of St. Augustine at 10 o'clock with Reverend August Preusser officiating and burial made in Calvary cemetery.

Mr. Studer was born in Ontario, Canada, in 1850, and at the age of 16 moved with his parents to Lena, Illinois. In the year 1872 he married Catherine Hoffer, who died in 1915. After their marriage, the couple moved to Iowa, where they lived until 1899, when they moved to St. Cloud with their family. Mr. Studer remained here the rest of his life, and during his younger years was engaged in the real estate business.

He is survived by seven children. They are E. J. Studer of Corwith, Iowa, G. N. Studer of Rockville, Minnesota, J. E. Studer of Mayhew Lake, A. G. Studer of Foreston, E. M. Studer of St. Cloud, L. D. Studer of St. Wendell, and Mrs. A. J. Engels, St. Cloud. There are four other children now deceased, Mr. Mary Huber of Plainfield, Wisconsin, W. J. Studer of St. Cloud and two who died in infancy. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Frank Immerfall of Avon, and four brothers, Gregory Studer of St. Benedict, Iowa, Nathian Studer of Weseley, Iowa, August Studer of Plover, Iowa and Frank Studer of East End, Sask., Canada.

There aer 57 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. The body will be taken to the home of Mrs. A. J. Engels, 216 Wilson Avenue S. E. on Thursday.
